Thyme

Perennial, low growing plants (~6-10"tall) with highly aromatic, tiny green leaves on slender woody stems. Great for adding to soups and stews. You can't help but stop and smell the delightful leaves everytime you pass them in the garden. Overwinters easily and has small white flowers that the pollinators love.

Growing Information

Sow multiple seeds 1/8" deep on soil blocks or in pots indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Germination can be slow and staggered. Transplant outside once temperatures have warmed.  Space small clumps of plants 8-10" apart. Perennial in zones 4 and up.
