Wood Betony

A garden favourite. Delightful purple pink flowers are beloved by pollinators and people. Perennial in zones 5-9 and flowers in their 2nd year onwards. I look forward to seeing their return each year. Many herbal medicine uses.

Growing Information

Germination can be staggered and slow (around 60% germination rate is common). Sow indoors in pots in early spring to transplant once danger of frost has passed. Space plants 12" apart when transplanting.
